At the end of July, Cherry Leppard took a group of 32 friends from the Kent village of Capel-le-Ferne on a three-night weekend break to Hayling Island in Hampshire, with Warner Leisure Hotels of Hertfordshire and Crosskeys Coaches of Folkestone.
A regular customer of Warner Leisure Hotels, Cherry has now organised seven group holidays to properties in its portfolio and it was a return trip to its Sinah Warren Hotel on Hayling Island. She notes, “The journey along the coast from our village in Kent to Hampshire is the perfect distance for a weekend away and I knew my group was guaranteed top quality accommodation, service and entertainment.”
Cherry can likewise rely on Warner’s Group Sales Advisor, Barbara Flood, to assist with the booking, commenting, “She’s absolutely brilliant!”
With stunning views over Langstone Harbour, peaceful spots for relaxing and a range of activities to partake in, Cherry left the first full day of the trip free for her members to enjoy the many amenities of the Sinah Warren Hotel. She recalls, “As the weather was glorious, many of the group spent a day relaxing by the outdoor pool but, for the more active members, there was rifle and pistol shooting, archery and walks around the beautiful grounds.”
On the Sunday, Cherry planned a daytrip to Portsmouth as many of her group had requested to see the Mary Rose, Henry VIII’s Tudor warship that is now housed in a new museum at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. Cherry says, “My group was very impressed with the museum and the harbour kept us entertained for the remainder of the day.”
Cherry organised coach travel with her regular suppliers Crosskeys and reports, “As usual, I could not have run the trip without the efficiency of both the office staff and our wonderful driver, Justin. “As for Warner Leisure Hotels,” Cherry continues, “I cannot fault them. They provide the highest levels of service time and time again.”
