So far in 2011, Alpine has transported approximately 10,000 cruise passengers – including private groups – on a whole host of excursions and tours visiting the major tourist attractions of North Wales.

This is compared to around half a dozen coaches a couple of times a year back in the late 1980s and the increase is down, in no small part, to the Welsh tourist body, CruiseWales – of which Alpine’s MD Chris B.Owens is a member – which has been instrumental in bringing cruise ships and their groups back to Holyhead.
