BELGIUM’S Historium Bruges, which launched in the city’s market square last November, has just opened a new café showcasing the country’s beer.
Developed in collaboration with the Duvel Moortgat brewery, the Duvelorium Grand Beer Café allows visitors to drink Duvel and Vedett beers and sample the fares of other Belgian breweries such as Achouffe, Liefmans and De Koninck in a setting that offers clear views across the square.
The Historium itself, meanwhile, uses film, music and special effects spread across seven rooms to take visitors on a historic journey through Bruges, beginning in 1435.
Groups can also taste artisanal chocolate in the attraction’s Chocolaterie.
Special rates are available for groups of 15 or more people.
