Billy Elliot gets 26th star

Twelve-year-old Ryan Collinson from Southport has become the 26th boy to play the title role in the West End production of Billy Elliot The Musical at the Victoria Palace Theatre.

He joins 12-year-old Josh Baker and 13-year-olds Dean Charles-Chapman and Scott McKenzie, who alternate the role of Billy.
Based on the film starring Jamie Bell in the title role, Billy Elliot the Musical is the story of a young boy who pursues his passion for dance in secret to avoid disapproval from his struggling family, against the backdrop of the miner’s stirke.
Billy Elliot the Musical is currently booking to 17th December at the Victoria Palace Theatre.
