OXFORD Castle – Unlocked has teamed up with the newest Oxford Castle Quarter restaurant, The Big Bang, to offer groups a tantalising joint deal.

Groups of 15 or more can now enjoy a tour of the castle prison coupled with a lunch of bangers and mash, served with style.

The Big Bang, which has been offering its Great British menu in Jericho, North Oxford for the past eight years, recently opened in its new home in the middle of the city.

Oxford Castle – Unlocked, meanwhile, offers a 40-minute guided tour of the 1,000 year old castle with a costumed character from its history, exploring the Saxon stone-built St. George’s Tower, the atmospheric crypt, the preserved prison wing and the archaic man-made mound, which offers breathtaking views of the city.
