A celebration of the rich and varied career of John Burningham, one of Britain’s most distinguished and best-loved illustrators, is to be held at London’s Fleming Collection from 13th September.

‘John Burningham: An Illustrated Journey’ will feature working drawings and exclusive material, with highlights including Burningham’s illustrations for Ian Fleming’s ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’.
A simultaneous exhibition at the London Transport Museum will display a series of his 1960s travel posters.

‘John Burningham: An Illustrated Journey’ will run from 13th September to 22nd December at the Fleming Collection in London. Admission is free, and curator-led tours for groups, complete with refreshments, are also available for a fee.
