Chuting stars

Visitors can now step inside a World War II parachute store at the National Museum of Flight in Scotland.

Restored to its original appearance using a 1936 parachute maintenance manual, the permanent exhibit shows where parachutes were hung from the ceiling to dry and re-packed ready for use.
The museum offers special rates for groups of 10 or more, and admission to the store is included in the entry price.
