Feast for the ears

A popular showcase of Christmas music from the Renaissance to the present day, the York Early Music Christmas Festival ill take place at various venues around the city, including the Chapter House at York Minster and the National Centre for Early Music, this November.

The festival will feature some of the world’s finest early music specialists, including violinist Rachel Podger directing the Brecon Baroque ensemble, members of medieval music players, Sirinu, exploring music from a Scandinavian Christmas, and The Ebor Singers looking at the Christmas of King Charles I.

The York Early Music Christmas Festival will take place at various venues in York between 23rd and 27th November. Exclusive rates are available for groups of 10 or more.
