The Royal Wedding in Windsor certainly increased the exposure for the Royal Borough. It’s put Windsor and its many attractions at the very top of a ‘must see’ list. Val Baynton took a trip to the town to find out the latest ideas for group visits.

For youth groups and mixed age groups LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is right on the doorstep and especially appeals to children aged two to 12. It has over 55 interactive rides including the brand new LEGO NINJAGO World and LEGO NINJAGO the Ride, live shows, building workshops and driving schools as well as 80 million LEGO bricks all set in 150 acres of beautiful parkland.

A new attraction for Adventure Land, The Haunted House Monster Party will open in spring 2019. This mysterious mansion will have mischievous ghouls and gargoyles hiding in the halls that will delight in telling guests a joke or two! You will also be able to sit at the ‘banquet table’ for the resident Vampire’s greatest party trick – turning the house upside down – see if you can hold on as you hang from the ceiling like a bat!

For group leaders there are a number of resources on LEGOLAND’s website to help prepare for the trip including downloads such as a Risk Assessment form along with information for Adult to Student Ratios and Ride Height & Age Restrictions.

Groups can also take advantage of discounted rates, an explorer pack for each child, including a LEGOLAND branded lanyard, exclusive pop badge and an activity pack to complete during their visit.
