Brazilica will feature irresistible rhythms, extravagant costumes and colossal floats.
The carnival will take place over three days, starting on 15th July, with activities including a South American street party, complete with free samba classes, music sessions and street football demonstrations.
The Saturday evening will see the carnival parade of over 1,000 people wind through the city streets, whilst Brazilian bands and DJs take to the stage in Williamson Square.
On the Sunday, Brazilica will wind down with sports, film and artistic events.
Brazilica will run from 15th to 17th July at locations throughout Liverpool city centre. The event is free.
