MODERN art will find a dynamic new home at the Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) in Boston in September, when it unveils its new Linde Family Wing for Contemporary Art.

The 80,000 square-foot addition includes seven new galleries, and triples the amount of space the museum will be able to devote to the exhibition of contemporary art.
The opening comes just months after the introduction of the MFA’s Art of the Americas wing, which showcases more than 5,000 works of art produced in North, Central, and South America over three millennia.
Its 53 galleries include nine painstakingly-researched period rooms and four behind the scenes galleries, demonstrating how curators collect, classify and care for the works on display.
Guided and self-guided tours are available at the MFA for groups of 10 or more.
