New Gloucester gargoyles

Five new gargoyles have been installed on the walls of Gloucester Cathedral depicting a king, peasant, ram, goat and sea monster.
The gargoyles form part of a five-year South Aisle Restoration project costing £750,000. By 2012, there will be 13 gargoyles in total; 10 of these (including the previously installed wolf, lion, old beggar, young boy and bird) are now in position, whilst a further three (mother, baby salamander and young man) are still to come.
