REPRESENTATIVES from Tourism Ireland will be at Excursions 2012 where they will present GTOs with a number of reasons why the country makes a fascinating group visit.
Among the many draws for visitors will be the upgraded facilities at Ireland’s tourist attractions. For instance, at the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland, The National Trust has put in place a new and improved visitor centre with designated parking for coaches.
There are also a number of new projects underway in the country, notably the construction of the £100 million Titanic Centre in Belfast, which is hoped to be open in time for the centenary of the ship’s sinking in April 2012.
One of the main attractions inside will be a 65-seater 4D theatre that will take audiences on a virtual dive to the liner’s final resting place at the bottom of the Atlantic.
Information about both these projects and more will be available at the Tourism Ireland stand.
