Oxford itineraries

VISIT Oxfordshire has produced seven full-colour itineraries to assist group organisers planning their 2013 programmes in Oxford and Oxfordshire.

Including tips for lunch stops, afternoon teas and accommodation, the itineraries make organising guided group visits an enjoyable and seamless process.

The itineraries are very varied, highlighting the wealth of history, heritage and natural beauty Oxford and Oxfordshire can offer, all year round.

Titles include ‘Experience Oxfordshire’ and ‘Stay in Oxfordshire’, which are aimed at general interest groups, and recommend visits to attractions such as Stonor House, Bicester Village, and the River and Rowing Museum at Henley.

‘Oxfordshire for Art Lovers’ encompasses a wide range of galleries and periods of art history, including both Old Masters (at Christ Church Picture Gallery) and the latest contemporary art (Modern Art Oxford), and ‘Dukes and Lords of Oxfordshire’ explores the county’s links with nobility, highlighting castles and stately homes that have appeared in films such as Shakespeare in Love.

Other options focus on the region’s gardens, and famous authors who have lived and worked in the county.

The itineraries can all be downloaded free of charge from the Visit Oxfordshire website at www.visitoxfordandoxfordshire .com
