Shrewsbury encourages coach groups

COACH drivers that visit Shrewsbury in Shropshire are being offered some rest and relaxation at the town’s Market Hall.

Drivers need to present a valid form of identification at the hall’s Market Buffet café, showing their name and employer, to claim a free meal up to the value of £3 (not valid on Sundays, Mondays or Thursdays).
The incentive is part of a broader plan implemented by the council’s tourism arm, Destination Shrewsbury, to make the town more coach friendly and encourage more groups to visit.
In addition, free coach parking has been made available in the coach bays at Frankwell and Abbey Foregate Car & Coach Parks.
Also, a new coach set down point has been provided in the town centre at Bellstone, opposite the indoor market and just up from Rowley’s House Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery.
