Arrive at the Best Western Stoke on Trent Moat House Hotel Meet at 12noon in hotel reception.

12.30pm            Moorcroft Heritage Visitor Centre

Visit the Museum at Moorcroft – described as the world’s best kept secret. Moorcroft produces unique handcrafted, quality, collectable art pottery.

1.45pm      Gladstone Pottery Museum

Gladstone is the last remaining complete 19th century pottery factory.  It has original cobbled yard, workshops and bottle ovens.  Plenty of hands-on opportunities, including throwing a pot and making china flowers.  Plus tile gallery and Flushed with Pride – the story of the toilet and sanitation. There will be time to buy lunch whilst at the Museum

3.45pm              Potteries Museum & Art Gallery

Discover the stunning Staffordshire Hoard display- the most valuable collection of Anglo-Saxon treasure ever found. The Museum also houses the world’s greatest collection of Staffordshire ceramics and a Mark XV1 Spitfire.

6.00pm              Return to Moat House Hotel

7.30pm              Dinner in the restaurant, Moat House Hotel

Make own way to Wedgwood Museum at Barlaston, Stoke on Trent.

10.45am            Wedgwood Museum and Visitor Centre

Welcome by Visitor Centre Staff and guided tour of museum

11.30am            Visit demonstration area in Visitor Centre

12.00 onwards    Visit Tourism & Attractions show. 

Lunch and depart Wedgwood for your journey home at your convenience.
