Glamping offers something new and different for small groups
Glamping (luxury camping) sites are popping up all over the country.
It has recently become popular with tourists seeking the luxuries of hotel accommodation, alongside the escapism and adventure recreation of camping.
Ideal for smaller groups they offer a chance to unwind in peaceful locations whilst enjoying the fresh air. Created with every luxury in mind, they typically include en-suite bedrooms, dining and barbecue areas and some even have wood burning stoves.
Amongst glamping experiences to consider are Felin Geri in Newcastle Emlyn in Ceredigion, East Wales with purpose-built safari-style lodges, each sleeping six people; on the Isle of Wight near to Cowes, Tiny Homes Holidays offer three individual wood-built lodges each sleeping up to four people, with more lodges being built for next year and in Salisbury, Stonehenge Campsite offers luxury glamping pods.
