Group tickets now on sale for A Right Royale Tea

Lord and Lady Right return to London this summer for A Right Royale Tea – an immersive and participatory comedy afternoon tea performance set in the grandeur of the British aristocracy – performing again at the four-star Amba Hotel, Charing Cross London on Sunday afternoons between 2.30pm and 4.30pm, from 28th June to 19th July.

Diners will join His and Her Ladyship, and their servants, as they take them back in time to the 1920s to remember the time when King George V once graced their marvellous mansion, Crawley House.

Actors mingle and interact with the diners, with each actor portraying a character as the story unfolds and guests enjoy an Afternoon Tea of classic British fayre.

As the ‘downstairs’ gets everything together, let’s hope the ‘upstairs” secrets don’t spill, the King turns up and Her Ladyship behaves herself.

Expect unexpected 1920s elegance, a stiff upper-lip and a delicious meal over a two-hour interactive comedy dining experience where the diners are part of the fun.

Elizabeth Hill, whose credits include Downton Abbey, the West End production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and the Olivier Award-Winning Sunday Afternoon, is part of the cast for selected dates in 2020.

The specially-designed British menu includes raisin and plain scones with jam and cream, sandwiches (ham & pickle, egg, cheese & pickle and salmon), a selection of cakes (cherry chocolate pebble, Victoria sponge and lemon tart, tea and coffee.

A Right Royale Tea is perfect for groups. The Amba Hotel Charing Cross is centrally located, steps from Charing Cross station, with lots of transport links. Group organisers can also hire performances at a venue of their choice. A dedicated project manager will ensure everything runs smoothly, including designing the menu. The performance can also be adapted for lunch and dinner.

There is an option to upgrade to a prosecco package and all tickets include the comedy dining performance and afternoon tea including scones, sandwiches and cakes.
