Introducing our 2020 group travel shows
Each show – one national and two regional – will be organised in partnership with the local host destination, and a variety of fam visits will allow GTOs the opportunity to learn more about the immediate local area at first hand through visits to selected attractions.
Northern Travel & Tourism Show
The Northern Travel & Tourism Show will take place on Tuesday 25th February at The Monastery, pictured above, a heritage venue in central Manchester.
This event will provide a focus on tourism suppliers, big and small, in Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, Cheshire, Cumbria, Yorkshire and the North East.
Supported by Marketing Manchester and Greatdays Travel Group, who are a leading tour operator based in the city, we are delighted to be returning to the area to showcase the opportunities for group travel in this part of the country.
Our beautiful host venue is The Monastery. Originally a church and Franciscian Friary designed by Victorian architect, E.W. Pugin (1834-1875), it closed for worship in 1989 and reopened in 2007 after extensive restoration brought many neogothic architectural details of the Pugin masterpiece back to life. It’s now an events and wedding venue, but talks and tours of the building can also be booked.
If you would like more information on attending our show or to book a stand contact Anoek Petit.
South West Group Travel Show
The South West Group Travel Show will be taking place on Thursday 30th January 2020, at the ‘We The Curious’ science and arts centre in Bristol. If you would like to book a stand, contact Sarah Jeffery.
GO Travel Show
The GO Travel Show will be returning to Kempton Park Racecourse on Wednesday 22nd April 2020.
We are already planning how to make this, our fifth event, bigger and better with host partners Visit Surrey!
